  •    Know the various causes of disease, various factors leading to occurrence of infectious diseases, methods used in the diagnosis of infectious diseases, common infectious diseases of large and small ruminants as well as swine
  •    Be able to prepare a herd health program based on sound principles of disease control
  •    Explain the significance of sanitation,  disease control and prevention in animal production
