Description: Prevention and control of common diseases of poultry

Course Outcomes:

  •    Recognize specific poultry diseases
  •    Know basic terms and concepts in mechanisms of/against infection
  •    Understand basic concepts and principles in disease prevention,  treatment and control
  •    Demonstrate proper methods  of immunization, biosecurity measures, blood collection, necropsy procedure, diagnosis of poultry diseases  and treatment to specific poultry diseases
  •    Formulate a plan/approach in disease outbreaks
