Description: Diseases or disorders attributed to nutrient diseases and toxicities affecting poultry, swine, cattle, carabao and goats with special emphasis on the recognition and management of such conditions.

Course Outcomes:

  • Describe specific interactions between nutrition and disease
  • Acquire skills in the recognition of signs, symptoms and pathology of the most important nutritional diseases affecting farm animals
  • State and discuss the principles involved in the prevention, treatment and management of nutritional disease
