Description: The physical environment; the mechanics of thermoregulation and animal adaptation; thermal stress; the problems associated with and the improvement of livestock production in tropical climate.
- Become aware with the current state, issues and trends in livestock production in relation to the environment
- Understand the concept of thermoregulation and the consequences of thermal stress on livestock performance
- Understand the principle of epigenesis and endocrine disruption in connection with animal production
- Apply new knowledge/information in formulating research in Animal Science
